After paging through thousands of red-carpet photographs from this year’s awards season, which just wrapped up with Sunday’s Oscars, we’ve noticed a popular designer emerge—Maria Lucia Hohan! Ashley Tisdale and Maria Menounos chose the Romanian designer’s clothes over Academy Awards weekend alone, while Stacy Kiebler and Jennifer Hudson also picked her elaborately draped and pleated gowns for red carpet events this year. ”It’s a dream come true, and I thank the universe for listening to my wishes and opening doors for me,” Hohan told InStyle.com of seeing celebrities in her line, which she first launched in 2003. ”My gowns are very glamorous, yet not too dressy, which is a nice combination.” Each of of her star-approved looks are handmade and shoppable on her website, mlh-shop.com. What does Ashley Tisdale think of her High School Musical co-star and bestie Vanessa Hudgens’ new short ‘do? “She can pull off anything!” the actress told us when we caught up with her at a Miu Miu bash in Beverly Hills last night. “When she sent me the picture of her on-set, I was like, ‘Oh my gawd.’ I literally died.” And while 80% of InStyle.com readers voted that they prefer Hudgens’ long waves, Tisdale is in the crop-loving minority. “I think it looks elegant on her—very cool and pretty,” Tisdale said. “Her hair has been the same way for so long. “I see in my future…Disneyland, pirates and Johnny Depp!!” Ashley Tisdale hinted via Twitter the day before she and pal Vanessa Hudgens hit the theme park for the world premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. While the High School Musical alums hung out with Johnny Depp and Mickey Mouse, Halle Berry and Kim Kardashian were among the stars who spent their weekend giving back. Berry led the charge at the 2011 Revlon Run/Walk for Women, while Kardashian played tour guide during the City of Hope event at Universal studios. Ashley Tisdale Scores Her First Birkin Bag!

Ashley Tisdale is excited about something today, and it’s not just because photos of her posing nude for a magazine were just released. It’s because she went shopping! The Hellcats and High School Musical star scored her first Birkin bag by Hermès! “After two years of waiting the New York Hermes store came through!! Aaahhh!!!!!” the 25-year-old Tweeted today in reference to the infamously long wait list the store traditionally has for one of these accessories. Tisdale bought a cobalt blue version, one of the most popular colors of spring so far. The Hermès store in New York sells the Birkin bag for $9,000 and up, a salesperson tells us.

Sharpay finally got her man… sort of. Zac Efron helped High School Musical pal Ashley Tisdale celebrate the DVD release of Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure at the Soho House West Hollywood. Also making an appearance at the event was Efron’s former flame (and fellow HSM alum) Vanessa Hudgens. In New York City, Black Eyed Peas frontwoman Fergie serenaded a crowd of Avon ladies to mark the 125th anniversary of the beauty brand, while across the pond in London, Kylie Minogue took in a performance of the buzzed-about burlesque revue, The Hurly Burly Show.
