With a new year comes new beginnings, especially when it comes to celebrities supporting their favorite brands. First up, Katie Holmes made her big debut as the new face of makeup brand Bobbi Brown, showing off her best smoky eye with the brand’s new eight-shade Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick, which Brown will debut in February. Meanwhile, Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson is the newest face of evening-wear designer Faviana. “I had a great time shooting the different looks and I felt amazing in every dress I put on,” Benson said in a statement. It’s not the first time Benson has put on her modeling hat—last summer she and co-star Lucy Hale were the face of Bongo. Halloween is very soon upon us—next Wednesday!—and that means one thing: the spookiest episodes of our favorite TV shows are airing this week. The Monster influx kicks off tonight with ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars. After the shocking conclusion of last season, Ashley Benson’s Hanna, Lucy Hale’s Aria, Shay Mitchell’s Emily, and the rest of the gang are back for more Team A sleuthing, but this time, they’re doing it in costume and aboard the Rosewood Halloween Ghost Train. Tune in tonight at 8 p.m. EST to see Mitchell dressed as a space-age fighter, Hale as a flapper, and more surprises.

The summer finale of Pretty Little Liars aired last night, and the big shocker is that—SPOILER ALERT!—Spencer’s (Troian Bellisario) boyfriend Toby is the latest member of Team A! (Did any of you see that one coming?) Before we could even register our shock, we remembered what we discovered when we sat down with Liar Shay Mitchell at the launch of her American Eagle campaign in Times Square: The girl who plays Emily Fields shares nothing in common style-wise with her sporty character. ”Any time I can get away with wearing sequins, believe me, I’ll have it on,” she told InStyle.com. “[Emily and I] are a little different in that way. I’m incorporating a little more of my style into her wardrobe—people are starting to see that this season. She’s wearing printed denim and more jewelry.” But then, in her own life, she added, “I’m sort of like, ‘Oh, you know what? Let’s just wear this T-shirt and these sneakers.’ We’re switching styles.” Life imitates art! Liars won’t return until October, but until then, watch this clip from last night’s finale, and tell us: What did you think of the latest big reveal?

Bongo just unveiled its new back-to-school campaign starring Pretty Little Liars’ Lucy Hale and Ashley Benson, and we have a behind-the-scenes look at the shoot. The actresses work leopard print blazers, rocker tees, and shredded denim in the ads, and their all-time favorite back to school outfits were just as adventurous. “In the 5th grade I thought I was really cool and I wore these sparkly snakeskin blue pants,” Hale told InStyle.com. “They were the most heinous pants you’ve ever seen in your life but I worked them.” Benson doesn’t have any elementary school fashion regrets either. “When overalls became capri overalls, I totally rocked those with a little one-shouldered tank and these bright red “McDonald” shoes,” she said. “It was really bad, but at the time it was so in, and I loved it.” View more photos in the gallery, and shop the looks next month at Sears and Kmart stores.
Before Katy Perry turned her hair Smurf blue, she dyed her strands in all-over lavender pink. Ever since, more and more celebrities have taken their turns with pink strands, though, in more subtle ways. Yesterday, Brooklyn Decker premiered Battleship in Seoul, South Korea with fuchsia extensions woven throughout her updo. And this year, Chloe Moretz gave her long bob rosy highlights, Ashley Benson dipped her ends in a bubblegum hue, and January Jones added rose gold strands because she wanted “something different and fun.” We love how this look ranges from the subtle to the severe—so you can really decide how big you want to make your statement. Tell us: Would you ever try pink?

Dip-dyed hair is having a moment! Jaime King recently debuted cerulean tips, and now Ashley Benson of Pretty Little Liars has jumped on the trend with a candy pink shade! We want to know: Would you wear two-tone strands? Tell us in our poll!
