Ann Taylor’s chic LOFT label has down-sized, but not on style: The label’s newly-redesigned petites collection is not only smack on-trend for fall, but also perfectly proportioned. Anyone (and we mean anyone—not just you shorties) who finds a regular size top or bottom too long in the sleeve, torso, rise hem or leg will find plentiful offerings, as petites are all about proportion to your height. And the new fall collection, featuring architectural silhouettes, textured tweeds and gorgeous floral prints, has already found a celebrity fan in Kristen Bell. The star was spotted wearing the label’s Multi-Tier Shell in Autumn Spots ($50) with their Denim Leggings ($70) at a party for the brand in June. Find Kristen’s look or create your own at loftonline.com.
We’ve been pretty much obsessed with LOFT lately—the holiday collection had us lusting after faux fur even in the heat of summer—and now the label counts Demi Lovato as a fan. The Camp Rock 2 star was spotted not once, but twice in the label’s edgy, chain bracelets: one for an appearance on Fox & Friends and later at her 18th birthday celebration. Find out where you can get the statement crystal-embellished bracelet (it’s only sold in LOFT stores) or purchase Demi’s drapey silver chain bracelet now!
It’s sweltering outside, but LOFT’s just-debuted 2010 Holiday collection has us dreaming of cozy layers, snow banks and fireplaces! Model Julia Stegner shows off the perfect winter weekend outfit: a striped blazer layered over a rosette tank, adding that festive je ne sais quoi to boyfriend jeans. And we can’t think of a chicer work-to-holiday party look than combining a belted faux fur vest with a classic cardi, brocade skirt and bare legs (assuming the November temps allow). Last night, celebrity stylist Nicole Chavez (her first client was InStyle contributor Rachel Bilson) hosted a chic fete for LOFT’s Fall 2010 Style Studio, where she styled three looks. “I wanted to keep it California chic because I am a California girl,” Chavez told us. Kristen Bell and Emmanuelle Chiqri got a sneak peek at the line’s modern architectural shapes, new fabrics (like tweed) and gorgeous feminine floral prints. “I think LOFT has been coming out with a lot of great stuff recently. I love that almost everything is striped and I’m dying to have all the hats,” Bell told us. “There is also a fantastic pair of equestrian over-the-knee boots that I am loving.” Our favorite piece from the collection? The amazing faux fur bolero that LOFT’s Senior Fashion Director, Alia Ahmed-Yahia, wore. Click on the gallery to see what pieces the stars wore from LOFT’s fall collection.

One of the most popular accessories spotted in New York this week is chic, affordable and charitable. MTV VMA winner Taylor Swift wore her Lisa for LOFT breast cancer awareness bracelet for an appearance on The View, while Gossip Girl‘s Kelly Rutherford and Entourage‘s Emmanuelle Chriqui (not shown) debuted the chain and satin ribbon accessory during Fashion Week. The limited-edition bracelet, designed by Lulu Frost’s Lisa Salzer exclusively for LOFT, retails for $24.50, with $5 from each sale going to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Available in LOFT stores and loftonline.com beginning October 1st through October 31st.
