Bonjour, Cannes! The 65th annual Cannes Film Festival is upon us, and not only is the event a great place for new films to make a big splash in front of a global audience, it’s also one of the hottest red carpets of the year. So far, we’ve spotted Freida Pinto in Michael Angel, Diane Kruger in Giambattista Valli, Jessica Chastain in Alexander McQueen, and Eva Longoria in Marchesa. If there’s one thing Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge made clear in 2011, it’s that she loves Alexander McQueen. She kicked off her McQueen fashion show in April, when she wore two looks by the label for The Biggest Wedding of the Year, and followed up with another lilac gown for her appearance at the BAFTA Brits to Watch event in Los Angeles over the summer.
