The smoldering Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine, has just been named People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2013 and we couldn’t be more excited! The Los Angeles-born crooner has had a jam-packed year—a surprise June engagement to girlfriend Behati Prinsloo came while the singer was shooting his first feature film Can A Song Save Your Life?; he launched his men’s clothing line at Kmart this year and namesake fragrances for men and women; and he is currently dominating on his NBC hit The Voice. How did Levine take the news? ”As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn’t really think that this was on the table,” the singer told the magazine. “I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren’t, so that’s cool.” Levine, the first musician to top the annual list, thanks spinning and yoga for keeping his hot body in shape. As his success continues to skyrocket, it seems like there’s nothing this sexy man can’t do. ”This is just a really interesting time where everything seems to be heading in a certain direction,” Levine stated. “And I’m not taking any of it for granted.”
Adam Levine‘s chair turns on The Voice aren’t the only things he’s focused on these days. Smack in the middle of his summer Honda Civic Tour with Maroon 5, the singer just launched his first men’s collection for Kmart, now available through shopyourway.com. The lineup is inspired by what he wanted in his own closet and therefore offers all kinds of dude-plus-rocker friendly items, things you’d find on Levine himself, like button-front shirts, broken-in jeans, cozy sweaters and hats emblazoned with the names of his favorite cities—Brooklyn, Long Beach, and Nashville included. “It’s all the basics,” Levine told InStyle.com in between tour stops at his New York preview last month. “I love the jeans. They are regular jeans—not skinny jeans and not butt-huggers. They’re normal dude jeans.” The pieces range from $15 to $70 for the clothes and $10 to $17 for the accessories, available now at shopyourway.com/adamlevine and at Kmart stores across the country. So, we pondered to Mr. Levine, what is the one item women should buy their men? “Everything,” he replied, “I love it all!”

Earlier this week, we learned that The Voice judge Adam Levine, 34, proposed to Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo, 24, after dating for over a year. We only had to wait a few days for Prinsloo to debut her engagement ring—she showed off her vintage 1930s sparkler on Extra TV and told the show she was “very giddy” when the Maroon 5 frontman popped the question. “It’s still a little surreal!” she told InStyle.com at the launch of Victoria, the new fragrance by Victoria’s Secret. “I’m very happy, and I’m very happy everyone else is excited about it, too.” Now that you’ve seen the rock up close, tell us, what do you think?

The Voice‘s Adam Levine is off the market! Adam Levine proposed to girlfriend Behati Prinsloo this past weekend in Los Angeles, reports People.com. The 34-year-old Maroon 5 frontman and the 24-year-old Victoria Secret Angel have been dating since last year. To quote our favorite Maroon 5 song, we’re sure that “she will be loved.” Congrats to the couple!

When we heard Adam Levine was launching his own fragrances for men and women, we were surprised — after all, didn’t he previously encourage a ban on celebrity perfumes? However, we were sold once we tried out the sexy rose, sandalwood, and jasmine blend of his women’s version. In his just-released campaign video, he makes his case. “I typically hate celebrity fragrances. It’s not that I hate celebrities, or that I hate fragrances,” he said. “It’s that, when I see them, I don’t necessarily believe that the people promoting them were particularly connected to what they were making, and I want to be involved every step of the way.” Levine’s involvement is evident in the sleek, minimalistic packaging alone, and although we can’t speak on his signature scent, we’re sure the sexy amber, lemongrass, and cedarwood blend of his men’s scent smells just fine on him. Check out what he had to say in the video above. The scent is available for $65 at macys.com.

No one loves today, February 22, quite like Adam Levine. The Maroon 5 frontman inked his forearm with the numbers 222, and he also named his new clothing line for Kmart after the triple digits. “It’s been my lucky number for my whole life, since I was 15, and it has been kind to me so far,” the handsome singer told us when we caught up with him in New York at a preview for his forthcoming line for men and women. Set to debut this fall at shopyourway.com and Kmart stores, 222 by Adam Levine will be “classic, simple clothing based off of some really iconic people, like James Bond, Steve McQueen, James Dean,” he told us, alluding to the plain white tee and jeans from the line he wore during the preview. “I think [it’s important] to make something that is flattering. But this is just my personal opinion, it’s my thing, it’s what I love, and that’s why it’s my line.” And he’s inviting his rabid fan base—being in Maroon 5 and judging The Voice has its advantages—to help him with his design process. Log on to shopyourway.com/adam to give Levine feedback on his creations, and win weekly prizes (like a signed guitar or backstage concert tickets). “I definitely know where I want to start, but it’s going to grow and evolve,” he added. See what he comes up with when the line launches—first on shopyourway.com then in Kmart stores—this fall.
