Author, actress, mom, and lifestyle guru Gwyneth Paltrow is now your international tour guide. After launching her Goop City App in 2011, she just release an updated version to include not only New York but also London and Los Angeles. ”I really made it for myself because I love to eat, I love to travel, and I love to know what’s new,” Paltrow told InStyle.com at New York’s Soho Apple store yesterday, where she demonstrated the app for customers. “I’m such a curious person by nature and I had everything written down in books all the time, so I really was like ‘I’ll make this for myself and my friends.’” And getting the Goop scoop straight from a celebrity pal isn’t the only reason you’ll love it! Scroll down for five more reasons it’s worth the download, as explained by Gwyneth herself. More
When we weren’t looking at Gwyneth Paltrow‘s see-through ensemble at the Iron Man 3 premiere, we couldn’t help but notice the glowing makeup and subtle blush lip gloss the world’s most beautiful woman had chosen to complete her look. The color amped up the natural tone of her lips and gave off a shiny finish. “My inspiration for Gwyneth’s look was the Earth,” said her makeup artist Angela Levin. “She reminds me of the things I love about our world—she’s an inspiration to women and people.” To keep in line with the organic feel of Paltrow’s makeup, Levin opted for Chanel’s Glossimer in Rose Sauvage. The sheer petal hue is part of the label’s new summer lineup, and looks gorgeous layered over natural lips and vivid shades alike. Find the product for $30 at chanel.com.
Gwyneth Paltrow, officially the world’s most beautiful woman, turned heads when she stepped onto the red carpet at the Iron Man 3 premiere this week in an Antonio Berardi dress with sheer vertical paneling along the sides exposing all her bits and pieces. Yesterday, she explained her controversial style choice on Ellen, where both she (in Proenza Schouler) and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres had giggle fits over Gwyneth’s admission that, because of the placement of the sheer fabric, she “kind of had a disaster.” No spoilers here—you’ll have to watch the clip above to find out just what nearly went wrong with Paltrow’s dress—but Gwyneth finishes the story by admitting, “I went from the most beautiful to the most humiliated in one day.” And this kind of look isn’t just for big movie stars anymore: Both Berardi’s original runway design (which is two-piece) and Paltrow’s full-length version will hit modaoperandi.com today at noon; the gown for $4,660 and the shorter skirt-top combo for $1,480 (skirt) and $1,580 (top). Watch the clip above and decide if Gwyneth’s risky style move is one you’d want to take.

Gwyneth Paltrow (in Antonio Berardi) made her first appearance after being named People’s Most Beautiful Woman at the Hollywood premiere of Iron Man 3, where she was joined by co-star Robert Downey Jr. “I’m more in proportion now than I was when I was 20, so I feel better in a bathing suit now than I did before I had kids,” Paltrow told People of how she views herself now that she’s 40. “But I think one of the most beautiful things about growing up is this self-acceptance that starts to happen.” And she certainly showed it last night, in Berardi’s daring dress with sheer vertical paneling on the sides. The latest in the Iron Man trilogy opens nationwide May 3. Click the photo to see more of the week’s parties!
