Weather.com’s New Beauty Forecast

Umbrellas like Katy Perry‘s aren’t your only protection from the elements thanks to a genius new feature on Weather.com, which provides beauty forecasts alongside weather predictions. John Frieda and Jergens Skincare have partnered with the Weather Channel to help you plan your hair and beauty regimen according to the forecast. And it looks like we need it: According to a survey of Weather.com users, 76% of respondents reported regular bad hair days due to weather conditions. We predict that percentage to plummet with handy tips and product recommendations based on your specific location!

Models Team Up For A Good Cause

Talk about a dynamic duo! Model/actress Milla Jovovich and model/photographer Helena Christensen have teamed up for  Tommy Hilfiger’s new ad campaign, supporting Breast Health International. The ad, snapped by Christensen (who starred in last year’s campaign), features Jovovich toting the chic, limited-edition red leather bag. “I am excited to work with Milla Jovovich and Helena Christensen in our continued support of Breast Health International,” said Hilfiger. “With the limited-edition bag series we’ve been able to contribute to building breast cancer awareness, and offer our customers an opportunity to make their contribution as well.” The bag goes on sale this month at Tommy Hilfiger stores and on Tommy.com; half of the proceeds will benefit the Fund For Living campaign.

There’s a new look taking to the streets of Hollywood—socks with heels! From Rihanna to Leighton Meester, celebrities are stepping out in the geek-chic look. The trend trickled down from the runway, where it was seen at Burberry, Christian Dior and Prada’s spring shows, and it’s also made its way into a recent J.Crew catalog. We haven’t seen this many sock hoppers since the ’50s, when bobby socks and poodle skirts were de rigeur. Can you master this fashion feet, er, feat? The trick of the trade is all in the mix. Make sure your socks aren’t too bulky and your shoes aren’t too fancy. Keep it casual and fun!

The Scoop on Balenciaga’s New Perfume

In a new video interview, Balenciaga designer Nicholas Ghesquiere dishes (en francais) about his new fragrance for the French fashion house. “We thought it was the right time, after 12 years, to launch a first perfume, because it’s the first perfume in a series,” Ghesquiere spills in the interview. We also get the inside scoop on Ghesquiere’s decision to use muse Charlotte Gainsbourg as the face of the fragrance, his meeting with fashion photographer Stephen Meisel, who shot the ad campaign, and his inspiration for the violet-tinged scent. New Halston Documentary To Premiere At Tribeca Film Festival

This year’s Tribeca Film Festival promises to be packed with style! Not only will a documentary about Vidal Sassoon be making its world premiere at the N.Y.C. festival, but a film about another legendary tastemaker is also set to debut. Ultrasuede: In Search of Halston, a portrait of designer Roy Halston Frowick, will premiere on April 30th. The film documents the glamorous life of Halston, who many call the first true celebrity designer, and includes interviews from some of his famous friends like Diane Von Furstenberg, Liza Minnelli, Anjelica Huston and Billy Joel. The house of Halston has been having a recent revival—the brand’s new president and chief creative officer Sarah Jessica Parker has been spotted in many of its designs—and we can’t wait to watch the story of the man who started it all come to life!

Kristen Bell Goes Shoeless For A Cause

On April 8th, Kristen Bell is leaving her Louboutins in the closet in favor of bare feet to raise awareness for poverty.
