The debate over whether blonds or redheads have more fun is really heating up: Emma Stone debuted her new bright blond strands at the Trevor LIVE charity event last night. Of the drastic color change (which is actually closer to her natural hair color), the actress told us: “It’s my Spiderman hair! Blondes do have more fun! But sometimes I look in the mirror and still feel like I’m wearing a wig.” Stone will play Spiderman’s love interest, Gwen Stacy, in the remake of the movie, which is set to release 2012.

The official lookbook came out today, and we’ve picked our four favorite looks from the collaboration coming to stores and Target.com on December 19th. From left, there’s an embellished tank ($29.99), twill jacket ($44.99), and faux-leather shorts ($39.99); then a flag tunic ($34.99) and ponte vest ($39.99); next a chambray shirt ($34.99) and faux-leather shorts; and finally, on the far right, a leather jacket ($199.99), flag tunic, and embellished tank. Kudos to Justin Timberlake, the co-founder of William Rast, for making such cute and affordable pieces!
Search engines Bing and Yahoo have just announced their year-end most-searched lists, and a few famous faces dominated everyone’s keyboards. 2010′s most popular topic on Bing.com was Kim Kardashian, who won by a landslide 20% more searches than second place Sandra Bullock. Behind the BP oil spill, the World Cup, and Miley Cyrus, Kim also came in at #4 on Yahoo’s list. Lady Gaga was a big hit on both sites, ranking #4 on Bing and #5 on Yahoo. Who or what will top the list in 2011? Kate Middleton and Prince William, perhaps?
If you’re anything like us, you woke up with an extra spring in your step today because Net-a-Porter launched their big end of season sale! But when we started to click through, we were heartbroken to discover that most of the items aren’t being sold in many sizes. Sigh. So, we’ve rounded up a few of our favorites that are still available in a nice range of sizes. You won’t find bargain basement prices, but if you’re looking to splurge on a bit of high fashion, there’s great stuff to be found including Isabel Marant crystal earrings reduced from $550 to $385. Kate Middleton‘s go-to brand, Issa, has a black sequined dress at half price for $732.50. Emma Watson fans, this one’s for you: the belted Carven dress she recently wore on the Today show has been marked down to $726. Rag & Bone desert boots originally sold for $450 and are now $315. Shop fast though—we can’t promise these chic pieces will be around much longer!
At the Gotham Independent Film Awards, we caught up with Leighton Meester to talk–what else?–fashion! Considering she stirs up her fair share of drama on Gossip Girl, challenges Gwyneth Paltrow in next month’s Country Strong and goes a bit psychotic in next year’s The Roommate, we had to ask: Do bad girls get better clothes? “In my experience, yes. In The Roommate, I play a little over-the-edge bad girl and she has a pretty good wardrobe,” she told us. Meester also spilled about her Country Strong co-star Gwyneth Paltrow: “She’s gorgeous without any makeup on and she comes to set at 5 a.m. looking really hot which is really great. She’s super down-to-earth and makes dirty jokes. She’s just a cool chick.“

At last night’s Gotham Independent Film Awards, Natalie Portman arrived looking totally polished in a Lanvin for H&M dress and Tiffany & Co. earrings. And according to the star, her taut figure is the result of her demanding role as a ballerina in Black Swan, which hits theaters Friday: “I’d spend a whole day working out. I’ve never done that much training in my life—5 to 8 hours a day! It was hard, but so rewarding.” Once the film wrapped, however, the actress treated herself to a breather: “Oh, I totally stopped exercising, and I started eating like a crazy person. I was like, okay, I can take it easy now.” Cheers to that!
