It’s Day 3 of the transition into Daylight Savings, and if you’re still wishing you could crawl back into bed this morning, the good news is you can feel that way, but you don’t have to look that way. While we can’t make up for that lost hour of beauty sleep, with an endless supply of fatigue-fighting products on the market, it’s possible to fake a full night’s rest in just a few minutes. Daylight Savings Time takes places this Sunday at 2 a.m., which officially marks the start of longer days and (hopefully!) warmer nights. Still, losing that hour can be critical when it comes to a girl’s beauty routine — and beauty sleep! So we did some digging and came up with a handful of products that can help you look like you never lost those precious 60 minutes. From lifting limp locks in seconds to adding instant drama with a smudge-proof lip, shop our favorite quick-fix picks in our gallery.
Ladies, get those engines revving! OPI has announced its latest collaboration will be with none other than Ford Mustang, in honor of the iconic sports car’s 50th anniversary, being celebrated this month. If that fact doesn’t drive you to take OPI’s shiny finishes for a spin, the colors most certainly will. “This new collection will deliver elements of sophistication, luxury, power, and style fitting for both OPI and Mustang consumers,” says the nail brand’s co-founder and executive vice president Suzi Weiss-Fischmann. While the limited-edition lacquers won’t roll out until July, we’re already a fan of the sneak peek shade, Race Red, suitably named after the car’s most coveted paint job.
This wouldn’t be the first time Ford has went matchy-matchy with a makeup brand: the classic car company also teamed up with Tussy Cosmetics for a 1966 sweepstakes, where winners took home brand new ’67 Mustangs in one of Tussy’s vibrant pink lipstick shades. Talk about taking color-coordination to a whole new level!
