I typically shy away from anything body con and zippers, but Jaime King (above) had me rethinking my rule. What works about this look is the silhouette. The sleeves and the length of the skirt are very flattering, making this combo incredibly chic. Plus, because it is monochromatic separates–it reads more like a dress.

If you want to rock a zip front skirt but are looking for a more subtle approach, swap the color for black or cream–toning down the shade will make the look much easier to pull off. The top can be a bit sportier or looser to balance the stretch in the skirt. I would usually reserve this trend for evening, although in a full skirt or midi pencil shape paired with a knit you could make a zip front skirt work for a daytime affair. Read on and shop three outfits to find the one (or two) that speaks to your style.
