It’s no secret that cats love hanging out in cozy spaces where they can daydream and snooze. With this in mind, Elan Bentov and Megan Mah created Cat Tipi, a line of charming kitty homes that are as practical as they are adorable.
Each Cat Tipi is draped with cotton canvas and held together with birch poles and suede laces. From pattern cutting and screen printing to sewing and assembly, the entire manufacturing process takes place in downtown Los Angeles. They come in an assortment of hand-applied artsy prints and have found fans in cat-loving celebs like Ashley Madekwe and Kat Dennings.
“Two years ago, we originally built a tipi in our living room for a child we were babysitting, when our cat, Wren, ended up sleeping in it,” Bentov tells InStyle.com. After realizing how perfect the home was for their adopted calico feline, the first Cat Tipi was born. “We created a tiny version of the tipi with a big door to easily climb into, an opening at the top to watch the horizon, and just enough room to comfortably host visitors whenever they come meowing.”

Our fave is the Spotty Foot, which was inspired by a cat who likes to take naps in an avocado tree. See all the styles and shop the collection ($54 each) at cattipi.com.
