Ever since the spring/summer 2014 collections showed last September, we’ve had roughly nine months to analyze the runways and ruminate on and dissect every possible trend. Needless to say, we can rattle off all the major fashion moments and noteworthy¬†pieces from the season without a moment’s hesitation: blush pink, sporty styles, iridescence, crisp shirting, wide crops, pool slides, and so on.

Now that summer is in full swing, we’ve turned our attention to next season (which is fast approaching), and the next crop of trends from the fall/winter 2014 shows. At Christian Dior and Bottega Veneta (above, from left), sharp suits and dresses were enriched with a deliciously lush shade of green. Give your¬†citrusy limes and garden-fresh Kelly greens a rest and try emerald shades by way of one-piece swimsuits, breezy summery dresses, or cami tops.

From linear detailing to nature-inspired prints, jump ahead and get a head start on eight fall/winter 2014 trends with pieces that are available now.
