Visors get a bad rap for being dated and old school (and not in the charming, nostalgic way), but the new crop seen on the spring/summer 2014 runways are making us look at them in a whole new light.
Gone are the embroidered sports logos and the colorful plasticky shades—these new ones are cut from a chicer cloth, so to speak, with updated designs, silhouettes, and prints. Conseulo Castiglioni, the designer of Marni, sent out models topped in sleek visors (above) complete with slicked back strands.
Plus, just the thought of not having to hopelessly deal with unruly hat hair (while still getting much needed shade!) was enough motivation for us to to focus our efforts on finding a visor to shamelessly wear all summer long.
