One thing Alicia Keys and Givenchy’s extensive fragrance library have in common? Hitting all the right notes with ease. When we heard the star was named as a the celebrity face of Dahlia Divin, the label’s upcoming scent, we couldn’t wait to see the final product, and the campaign further solidifies her title of “Girl on Fire.”
Givenchy’s latest launch won’t be out until fall, but the idea for the campaign was sparked after Keys collaborated with designer Riccardo Tisci for the 10th anniversary of her album. “We did four intimate shows with just me on the piano, and he designed the look for them. It was very heavy metal — everything of his is just really heavy, but it was super cool,” she tells WWD. “As time passed, the campaign came to fruitition.” We certainly see the metallic influence, with Keys appropriately decked out in a detailed gold gown that complements the bottle’s gilded color scheme. We’re expecting the juice inside, which combines notes of jasmine, patchouli, plum and sandalwood, to be just as luxurious once it hits stores in September!
