Kate Winslet, a modern-day Eliza Doolittle?

If we learned anything from Audrey Hepburn‘s role in My Fair Lady, it’s that a day at the races is nothing without a fabulous headpiece. And it’s clear that Winslet excels in this particular arena.

The actress was dressed to the nines at the 2014 Prix de Diane Longines in Chantilly, France over the weekend, selecting a showstopper of a dress—a minimalist color-block Narciso Rodriguez number—but the winning piece was her black-and-white rose-motif fascinator by Philip Treacy, a milliner to the stars whose creations have been seen perched on the heads of celebrities and royalty (including a whopping 37 in the Royal Wedding party alone).

The overall effect? Très, très chic!
