It looks as though we’re leaving the jungle and heading to the farm this fall! We spotted cow print roaming around the Thakoon, Betsey Johnson, Marni, and Miu Miu runways—and pieces from Moschino’s fall/winter 2014 collection really captured our attention.

Cow prints are a major focal point for Jeremy Scott’s debut runway collection as the newest creative director of Moschino—from bags to motorcycle jackets, this collection covers all of our favorite staples in the classic pattern. Rita Ora rocked Moschino’s cow-print leather dress (above, left) at an intimate, invite-only performance in London earlier this month to launch her newest single “I Will Never Let You Down” and has sported the brand’s cow-print backpack (below) on several occasions.

The trend has already begun to trickle down from the runway to contemporary brands such as Jeffery Campbell, Matisse Keegan, and ASOS, where divine bovine pieces are currently available.

We hope this mad-for-cow trend continues to spread because this animal print is so versatile. The trick is all in the mix: Wear cow print with neutral-colored pieces to achieve a contemporary, minimalistic look or mix it up with floral prints or bright colors for a bold and vibrant feel.
