Still obsessing over the many hairstyles Kim Kardashian wore throughout her lavish wedding weekend? You’re not alone! We reached out to the man behind the gorgeous braids, blowouts, and updos, Chris McMillan, who used Living Proof products, and learned how to recreate each look, starting with the glam, pre-wedding lunch, all the way to the star-studded after-party.

Look #1: Lunch at Chateau De Wideville
After blow drying the star’s signature shiny strands, McMillan sectioned her hair from the ear forward, and pulled the rest into a ponytail at the nape of her neck. Once braiding the pony, “I then took the front two pieces of hair and pulled those back, covering her ears and wrapping them around the ponytail holder,” he tells us. “Covering the ears feels very chic right now,” he adds. “It lends itself to a retro, 70s-inspired look.”

Look #2: Rehearsal Dinner

When it came time for the rehearsal dinner, McMillan removed the bride-to-be’s braid and brushed through her hair, using Flex Shaping Hairspray ($24; livingproof.com) for a boost of body at the roots. “I then pulled Kim’s hair back into a low, slightly-off-center ponytail and braided it before putting it into a bun.” For a glamorous touch, he added a long, gold barrette to hold the look in place.

Look #3: The Ceremony

For the much-awaited ceremony, McMillan went with a classic blowout and a chic center-part. After prepping damp hair with a bit of Full Thickening Mousse ($26; livingproof.com) at the crown, he blew out her strands with a round brush. “Kim’s Givenchy dress was so elegant and beautiful. Because of the veil, I tucked her hair behind her ears and kept the look simple and elegant,” he tells us. “It all worked well together. The whole look was very modern, chic, and different.”

Look #4: The Reception
Once Mrs. Kardashian West took her veil off, McMillan swept back the front two pieces of her hair and pulled them into a tiny ponytail. “I then took a little spray of baby’s breath from her bouquet and put it in the middle of the ponytail,” he shares. “I always like to put flowers in the hair, especially at a wedding.”

Look #5: Reception Dress Change
The final look? “About two-thirds into the reception, Kim changed into another dress. All I did this time was take her hair down, brush it out, and re-blow dried the front a bit.” To amp up the texture for her sparkling Balmain mini, he sprayed some Instant Texture Mist ($26, available August 21; livingproof.com) in his hands and added it throughout. Lastly, a dab of Satin Hair Serum ($29; livingproof.com) provided a silky-smooth touch.
