Target announced today that they are partnering with Altuzarra, the luxury label from designer and creative director Joseph Altuzarra that is best known for merging femininity, sophistication, and practicality in its coveted designs. Celebrated for a clever combination of French sophistication and American ease, Altuzarra appeals to refined, independent women (like celebrity devotees Jennifer Lawrence, Cameron Diaz, and Kate Bosworth, to name a few), and we’re certain Altuzarra will bring these characteristic designs traits to Target.
The limited-edition collection will consist of women’s ready-to-wear, lingerie, accessories, and shoes all inspired by a mix of iconic Altuzarra silhouettes. The first revealed sketch shows a flirty Swiss Dot maxidress with billowing sleeves, which we want in our closet right now. “I designed this beautiful, elegant full length dress as part of the Altuzarra for Target collection to add a sense of glamour to the collection,” the designer says. “I envision women wearing this dress to special occasions and feeling confident, sexy and sophisticated.”
Rightly so, the young New York-based Altuzarra is thrilled about the partnership. “As a designer, I believe firmly in the transformative power of fashion.
