Happy birthday, Tina Fey! The multifaceted queen of comedy, who cut her teeth as a writer-turned-performer on Saturday Night Live before stealing our hearts on 30 Rock as funny girl Liz Lemon, turns 44 today.

The decorated actress and former InStyle cover girl has been honored with numerous Emmy awards, two Golden Globes, and a Grammy nomination for the audiobook version of her New York Times bestseller Bossypants. She also boasts several “Entertainer of the Year” accolades to boot.

Most recently, the lovely mother of two added another beauty notch to her belt when her collaboration with Garnier Skincare was announced last month.

Later this fall, Fey will appear in the comedy This Is Where I Leave You across from Girls’ Adam Driver and NeighborsRose Byrne. Plus, we’ve already started counting down the days until her third hilarious reunion with fellow comedian and pal Amy Poehler as the hosts of next year’s Golden Globe Awards.

Celebrate Tina Fey’s birthday by taking a look back at the actress’s transformation, from teenage years to stardom.
