What’s the key to pulling off high heels?
High heels are amazing because they make your legs look better and I feel immediately sexier with heels on … but there is nothing more unattractive than when you see a girl hobbling around in shoes she can’t walk in. When you’re thinking of buying a pair of shoes, make sure to walk around in the store for a bit—it’s like a practice run. If you can’t walk in them, don’t get them!
Any tricks to breaking in shoes?
I’ve been wearing heels for years but never relied on insoles. Dr. Scholl’s sent me their new insoles while I was shooting for four months with my German TV show. I tried them for the whole season and I just loved them. I do 10 to 20 hour days with that show—that’s a long day in heels! Some of the insoles have a little arch on the pad so there’s not so much pressure on the feet and some of them help absorb moisture.
What are three essential shoes every woman needs to have in her closet?
I love a short black boot with a flat sole, a little black booty with a chunky heel, and a beautiful black pump. I like black because it goes with everything!
