There’s a certain je ne sais quoi about the intricate designs of Parisian couture millinery, Maison Michel, whose fans include Nicole Richie and Emma Watson. Since 1936 the company has produced alluring and artistic hats and headbands to compliment haute couture and pret-a-porter collections of houses such as Lanvin, Givenchy, and Christian Lacroix. Now owned by Chanel, the chapeaux are designed by Maison Michel’s artistic director Laetitia Crahay and not one season since 2006 has debuted without cat ears in each collection. This season sees these charismatic feline-earred designs made with silks, felts, and straw. The fresh colors are a pawesome way to add some class (and sass!) to your spring wardrobe. “People are so excited each time they see the cat-inspired styles. Girls can’t resist trying them on—sometimes boys too!” Crahay tells InStyle.com. “To be honest, I did the same,” she says. We know we would—meow!
