Happy birthday, Bobbi Brown! Known the world over for her line of cosmetics, this beauty guru has proven that makeup isn’t the only thing she’s great at. In the past few years, she has added a slew of new titles to her resume: author, columnist, philanthropist, and most recently, eyewear designer and editor-in-chief.
In 1991, Brown debuted her line of cosmetics, which are made for women who prefer a more natural look. “I love looking at the colors that occur naturally in people’s faces,” Brown said in the January 2009 issue of InStyle. “They often yield inspiration for shades and products,” she added.
And talk about a big birthday month for Brown. Beginning of April, she released her eighth book Everything Eyes, and two weeks ago, she launched a line of eyewear, which includes sunglasses, eyeglasses and readers in shapes, styles and colors that are meant to boost looks like makeup. Last week, it was announced that she will take on editor-in-chief duties of Yahoo Beauty.
