Oscar de la Renta‘s love for gardening has been well documentedthe designer released his second book The Style, Inspiration and Life of Oscar de la Renta just last month featuring never-before-released images of de la Renta’s homes, gardens, and outdoor spaces in Connecticut and the Dominican Republicand now he is collaborating with the New York Botanical Garden on a home collection. The 20-piece line is a nod to de la Renta’s green thumb and floral expertise, and features tableware, glassware, serving sets, tablecloths, and more.

The inspiration for the collection came straight from the LuEsther T. Mertz Library’s impressive Rare Book Collections located at the New York Botanical Garden, where the designer handpicked botanical images from that imbue his signature aesthetic onto the pieces. With cocktail plates covered in vibrant red peonies, heart-etched glassware, whimsical covered melon bowls, crisp patterned trays, and golden paperweights in the shape of magnolias and dahlias, these horticultural home goods will have your table ready for spring in no time.
