Fashion dreams do come true.
For fans of Alexander Wang’s model off-duty aesthetic, soon the designer’s wares will be available (if you can get your hands on them) with a much lower price tag. Last night, at the Coachella Music Festival in Palm Springs, Wang made the happy announcement that he’s teaming with fast fashion retailer H&M on a full collection. (For Instagram followers, Wang’s first ever post also broadcasted the big news.)
Slated to hit online and 250 H&M stores worldwide this Nov. 6, the collaboration will feature both women’s and men’s accessories and apparel. In a statement, Wang says, “I am honored to be a part of H&M’s designer collaborations. The work with their team is an exciting, fun process. They are very open to push boundaries and to set a platform for creativity.”
Though there’s still months left until the collection hits stores, better plan your purchase strategy now. If H&M’s past collaborations, such as those with Lanvin and Isabel Marant, are any indication, expect block-long lines.
