Department stores and designer names go hand in hand, but Harrods and Prada are taking it one step further. During the month of May, Harrods Knightsbridge’s fourth floor will transform into Pradasphere, an exhibit dedicated to the iconic Italian label. Devotees can feast their eyes on items from the Prada archives; a history wall that detail’s Prada’s non-fashion-related pursuits like the America’s Cup; short films from directors such as Wes Anderson; and, of course, shoes and bags from past collections.

“Pradasphere is a portrait of one of our generation’s most creative minds,” said Michael RockFounding Partner and Creative Director of 2×4. “Pradasphere demonstrates that Prada is not so much a brand in the traditional sense of the word, but one extraordinary individual’s way of thinking, way of making, and way of looking at the contemporary world.”

In addition, 40 of the London store’s windows will be dedicated to Prada, featuring pieces from the label, video installations, and (drumroll, please) highlights from a capsule collection designed especially for Harrods for this occasion. And if that’s not enough, you’ll be able to order specially reissued ready-to-wear and accessories from past collections. The exhibit and a ground floor pop-up store dedicated to the capsule collection will run from May 2nd through the 31st.
