In honor of her milestone birthday, Sanrio is releasing Hello Kitty ♥ Collaborations, a book that highlights 40 of the beloved character’s most fabulous appearances in fashion, jewelry, cosmetics, toys, confectionary, art, music and more.
Set to hit shelves April 8, Hello Kitty’s first ever coffee-table book with Rizzoli is an exclusive compilation of the brands, designers, and stars the cool cat has worked with over time. Amongst her fashionable partners are companies like Vans (pictured, above), Diesel, Swarovski, Reebok and Uniqlo, as well as a variety of fellow characters and celebrities including Lady Gaga, One Direction, the Sesame Street gang and the DC Comics superheroes. The tome highlights the pairings with images and illustrations along with a brief profile of each brand or star — like a bookish birthday party of sorts, perfect for Hello Kitty’s 40th anniversary. As Hello Kitty always says, “You can never have too many friends!”
