Look out America, H&M’s upscale sister brand COS–short for Collection of Style–is set to make its debut in the states! Later this year, the brand will open stores in both New York City and Los Angeles, with US e-commerce also in the works. COS launched in 2007 with the goal of creating pieces of high-end design and good quality at affordable prices, with many of their covetable items coming in at under $100. Unlike H&M, COS focuses on timeless design that will have life beyond the current trends and season, creating clothing that feels both classic and modern.
In the meantime, the retailer will open pop-up shops in Opening Ceremony stores (as it did last year) on April 17th, giving you a taste of what’s to come, with the limited-availability pieces also being sold on openingceremony.us. COS has already found fans in celebrities like Olivia Palermo and Kate Bosworth, and we couldn’t be more ready to snatch up some of their luxe basics stateside. Check out the brand’s designs on cosstores.com and get excited for their US arrival.
