All Fashion Week, we’ve been coveting clothes, accessories, and trends that won’t even become available for another six months. What’s a frustrated shopper to do? If you’re iSpy DIY‘s Jenni Radosevich, you make it yourself.

After spotting this fringed Paula Cademartori shoulder bag, Radosevich decided to try her hand at recreating a version of it. “Graphic prints are on trend in a major way, and I can’t get enough of them,” she tells us. After buying a simple black bag, she transformed it into a statement accessory to carry during Fashion Week using materials found at most craft stores. (It’s pictured here!) “Major bonus: Everyone who saw it thought it was designer,” she says. “DIY for the win!”

Another bonus? The transformation isn’t as hard as you might think. Want to try this DIY yourself? Check out the step-by-step from Radosevich.
