After making such a roar at last season’s Fast and Furious-inspired show, there’s no denying that every single editor (us included) was dying to find out what the Opening Ceremony duo Carol Lim and Humberto Leon had up their sleeves for fall/winter 2014. And boy, did they deliver—in the sweetest way possible.

We were greeted with Opening Ceremony-packaged chocolate bonbons as soon as we arrived at the venue, which should have been our first clue, but at the time, none of it registered as we took our seat facing an embossed white wall. As models zoomed past on the lengthy runway, it seemed as though the show wasn’t going to live up to the hype—until chocolate began to ooze from the ceiling. Resounding gasps were heard all around as everyone immediately whipped out their phones and started snapping (or recording) away, posting to various social media platforms (as seen here, here and here) in the process. As the melted chocolate drizzled down, the heady scent of sweetness wafted throughout.

Needless to say, the models and what they were wearing temporarily took a backseat—that is, until we remembered why we were there in the first place. Post-show was a blur of people clamoring to take a closer look at the chocolate drips (some even tasting it, Willy Wonka-style). Finally, plastic Opening Ceremony-emblazoned traveling mugs filled with hot cocoa (aka the perfect cold-weather concoction) were served on the way out. Singer Kelly Rowland even re-traced her steps so she could take home one of her own, and to everyone’s delight, posed with her souvenir before heading out into the snowy February night.
