Best known for her coveted bridal collections and stunning red carpet gowns, designer Monique Lhuillier is now launching her first ready-to-wear advertising campaign. A true celebrity favorite—Reese Witherspoon, Carrie Underwood, and Drew Barrymore are all major fans—the brand’s designs capture the essence of sophisticated luxury by provoking femininity, allure, and glamour. The decision to finally release an ad campaign for RTW, which the brand has been doing since 2002, comes at a time when Monique Lhuillier is rapidly expanding—opening stores in New York and Los Angeles just over a year ago and recently launching e-commerce.
The designer’s spring 2014 collection, which is featured in the ad campaign, is all about pretty, and contains shades of pink, orange, red, and cream, as well as bright florals. Sheer chiffon ombre trains and billowing skirts on dresses were gorgeous twists on her typical styles, but our favorite looks were the fresh and flirty two-piece evening gowns.
