While a lavish launch party announcing a brand’s latest products was once the norm in the beauty world, NARS is changing the game by giving users a sneak peek at their upcoming Guy Bourdin-inspired range via Snapchat — which will then disappear into the ethos forever. The collection inspired by the late French photographer will roll out to stores on October 15, but if you’re an avid Snapchatter, you could be getting previews of the impressive range in the weeks before the official release date. So, how does it work? Simply follow the “Narsissist” account on Snapchat, and you’ll get access to a ten-second first look at the products as soon as today. NARS isn’t the only style giant sending out snaps — for New York Fashion Week, Rebecca Minkoff enlisted the service to reveal pieces from her spring collection before the outfits even hit the runway.
