Her makeup artist Fiona Stiles gave us an exclusive look at how the star prepped for the big night, with the complete breakdown on how Hale’s makeup stayed flawless under the heavy-duty stage lights. ”My process for inspiration is always very organic. Angelina Jolie, Natalie Portman, and Kristen Bell Attend Disney’s D23 Expo, Plus More Celebrity Parties!Aug 12, 2013 @ 3:17 pm
The happiest place on Earth got an extra dose of star power this weekend! Held at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, celebrities like Natalie Portman (in Louis Vuitton), Angelina Jolie (in Saint Laurent Paris), and Kristen Bell stepped out at Disney’s D23 Expo to talk about their much-anticipated projects. Bell and her co-star, Broadway actress Idina Menzel, got animated about their upcoming film Frozen, which is loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen’s story The Snow Queen, while Portman and Tom Hiddleston attended a panel for Thor: The Dark World. However, one of the most unexpected moments was when Angelina Jolie surprised the crowd to speak about her upcoming role in Maleficent, which follows the storyline of Disney’s Sleeping Beauty from the villainess’ point of view. “Since I was a little girl, Maleficent was always my favorite,” Jolie told her fans. “I was terrified of her, but I was always drawn to her.” The feeling is mutual! Vanessa Hudgens is the latest celebrity to jump on the blonde hair bandwagon! Last week, the 24-year old took to Tumblr and Instagram to debut her new look, but this isn’t her first time on the lighter side of the hair spectrum — the star previously went blonde for her role in 2012′s Spring Breakers, and her return to the hue is right in line with the recent ‘dos sported by Julianne Moore, Gabrielle Union, and Channing Tatum. Hudgens has always been known for her bold fashion and hair choices, so her shift in shade doesn’t come as a surprise to us. “I just don’t like staying stagnant,” the actress told InStyle.com during American Eagle’s Walk Your Walk event. “Life is about evolving and constantly growing and everything should be like that, whether it’s fashion or your view on the world or your career. You should always be growing.” That’s the spirit! Do you like her new look? Tell us in the comments!
