Now that Heidi Klum‘s seven-year marriage to Seal is over (she’s moved on with her bodyguard, Martin Kirsten), the model and America’s Got Talent judge is in the process of removing the tattoo on her inner left arm that blends her name with his. “She’s been through a few treatments,” a source tells People. If you, like Klum, have a tattoo that no longer represents who you are, undergoing laser treatment is the most effective way to have it removed, but it’s also the most costly. (Sessions can run from $200 to $800 each.) So in case you don’t have Klum’s cash, we found four makeup products that can help you cover up a tattoo, and all are way less costly — and painful! — than a laser treatment.
M.A.C. Cosemetics Select Cover-Up ($18 at maccosemetics.com)
“Don’t revel it, conceal it!” the product description exclaims. Available in 13 shades, this concealer also helps brighten skin’s dark areas, erase spots, and even out skin tone.
Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Concealer ($25 at sephora.com)
If anyone needs to occasionally cover up a tattoo, it’s Kat Von D. “I think just as much as people have the choice to be tattooed, they should also have the liberty to look whatever way they want whenever they want,” she says of the product. And so she created this oil- and paraben-free formula that will cover up any tattoo (or blemish) in four steps.
Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer ($32 at sephora.com)
Oil-free and waterproof, this product has been formulated for sensitive skin, making it the perfect multipurpose concealer for tattoos and blemishes.

Calling all brides-to-be: Here’s a bridesmaid gift that merges style, function, and a personal touch. Nivea and Rebecca Minkoff joined forces to launch the brand’s Style Uncapped customizing tool, which allows you to create your own design on their iconic lip balms. Users have the option to choose Minkoff’s runway-inspired design (right) or try out over 400 patterns, and there’s even the option to add customized text (like names or events). “With the first of its kind program, we will give everyone in America the opportunity to make their lip cap their best accessory,” said Minkoff. “And I know all too well about the importance of creating a great accessory!” Plus, if you order over 5 lip balms, they’ll be priced at $5 per cap, so if you have a large bridal party, you don’t have to spend big to give a memorable gift. Try out the Style Uncapped tool for yourself at styleuncapped.com when it launches Thursday, June 27.

Vera Wang just rolled out her new bridal, bridesmaids, and accessories styles for her White line, stocked exclusively at David’s Bridal, and it’s full of looks for the modern bride that cost a fraction of what one of her runway designs would. The collection is in stores just in time for fall ceremonies and features the same elements Wang is known for, including textured organza, grosgrain sashes, crystal embellishments, and crinkled chiffon. And it’s trendy: Two new colors are available within the five new bridal gowns, priced at $728 to $1,348, silver (Sterling) and beige gray (Oyster). Wang also released several new bridesmaid dress options for $158 to $198—yes, these can actually be worn again—and an array of accessories, like veils and sashes. An identity crisis can be a good thing for 20-year-old L.A. native, Sky Ferreira. It’s been a five-year journey from her bubblegum-pop roots to today’s edgy electronic bangers and burning love confessionals (the single “Everything Is Embarrassing” has more than 1.5 million YouTube views). Her debut album, I Will, drops in August, but in the meantime, the singer sat down with InStyle for a feature in our Salma Hayek-covered July issue and revealed some wild facts about her life. Example: She was pals with Michael Jackson. Her mother was his hairdresser, but young Ferreira didn’t realize that he was the Michael Jackson until years later. “He was just my family’s totally normal friend,” she says. And that’s not all she said. Learn more about the singer and see five more photos of her modeling summer’s feminine cuts and seductive textures on page 192 of our July issue, or download it on your tablet.

On last night’s episode of The Bachelorette, Desiree and her remaining suitors jetted overseas for some international adventures in Munich, Germany. With the change in temperatures from the show’s usual setting in sunny Los Angeles, a change in clothing styles was necessary as well. Everyone had a chance to don their finest cold-weather attire, and former Bachelorette Emily Maynard made note of her favorite looks, which she’s sharing exclusively with InStyle.com all season long. “I thought it was so funny that all the guys were wearing the exact same zipped hoodie,” Maynard said. “That would never happen on The Bachelor, because a group of girls would never all wear the same jacket!” While the men matched, Desiree stood out, be it at dinner in a German palace, on a snow day, or at the rose ceremony. Click to find out Emily Maynard’s top fashion picks from the episode.
There’s nothing like fireworks and an outdoor get-together to celebrate the Fourth of July, but sometimes the same barbeque setup can feel been there, done that. That’s why we asked celebrity event planner Preston Bailey at an event for Escada‘s Especially Escada scent how to put a new spin on the standard offerings. His suggestion? Get inspired by the Jazz Age. “Those who want something elegant can play on the Great Gatsby theme with a gorgeous lawn party,” Bailey told InStyle.com. “Lace tablecloths, crystals, champagne, parasols, and white flowers would all go well.” We love this super-luxe idea, and we’re sure Jay Gatsby would approve as well. If you’re looking for something a little more family-friendly, Bailey suggests going with a country fair theme, but adding a gourmet twist. “Serve comfort foods such as truffled mac and cheese, or funnel cake with Nutella,” he said. “Set up booth and lawn games, and go ahead and rent the dunk tank!” Now where can we RSVP?
