Emily Blunt’s new movie Arthur Newman hits theaters today! In the film, the InStyle cover girl plays a free spirit who embarks on a road trip with a former FedEx employee, played by Colin Firth. Both intent on leaving their past behind—Firth hopes to start anew life as a golf-pro, Blunt wants to flee a sticky personal situation—they make their way to Terre Haute, Indiana. “They’re completely ill-suited; they’re like oil and water,” Blunt explained in the May issue. “But somehow they find in each other what they are missing in themselves. In a really, really messed up way.” Read: Breaking into people’s homes, dressing in their clothes, and getting frisky. And the pair had just as interesting of a relationship together when the cameras weren’t rolling. “He’s so silly,” she told us of working with the Oscar-winning actor. “He’s the silliest person I’ve ever met, and we had such a good time. Our relationship consisted of him being insecure and me torturing him. And that was pretty much the entire shoot,” she joked. “It’s the most strange, beautiful, intimate movie, and I’m really glad it was him that I got to do it with.” To see them act out their obvious affection for each other on-screen, click here to see where the film is playing near you.

Congrats, KD Faustino, you’re InStyle.com’s Reader of the Week! Inspired by Kate Hudson’s 3.1 Phillip Lim ensemble in March InStyle’s The Look section and on InStyle.com’s Look of the Day, KD’s emerald interpretation caught our eye. “Kate Hudson proves you can sport silky, luxurious, pajama-inspired pieces without appearing as if you just tumbled out of bed,” she told InStyle.com. “I took the monochromatic approach but did my own spin on the trend with a pair of beige booties and a wide-brimmed hat.” Comfort has never looked more glamorous! For more of her stylish outfits, check out KD’s blog, thegirlwiththemessyhair.com.

Rashida Jones epitomized casual cool when she showed up to the City Year event in Los Angeles this week in a crisp white blazer, pleated cropped pants to match, and a soft gray cotton tee. “This is Zara actually,” the Parks and Recreation star revealed to InStyle.com. “Zara is literally my favorite place. I love it.” Jones paired the brand’s linen blazer ($90) with the faux leather-topped trousers ($60), and then layered a basic ribbed T-shirt underneath ($20). Rashida’s style stayed true to her love for “architectural clothes and menswear” without being overly masculine. Head to zara.com to start shopping her look now.

What called for a Friends reunion? Last night’s L.A. Modernism Show & Sale opening night, which benefited the Los Angeles children’s arts organization P.S. Arts (Tommy Hilfiger is an avid supporter). Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox reunited to enjoy the evening, which raised funds for the non-profit’s dance, music, theater, and visual arts programs that serve 12,000 students throughout Los Angeles County and the Central Valley. The print on this Halston minidress is gorgeous. I was drawn to the mustard tones, which made me feel very 1970s glam. I went for a faux-bob with my hair, but a loose, wavy one to keep the look relaxed. I wore killer yellow metallic heels from one of my faves, Jimmy Choo, and then my absolute talisman, a ring designed by my friend Mesi Jilly. She has them all made in Italy and you can choose the stone—mine is Labradorite and it changes tone in different lights. This look was quite sophisticated and different from what I usually throw on, but I had fun wearing it!

Finding the perfect sunless tanner can feel like a modern-day take on Goldilocks and the Three Bears, but among the options that are too orange or prone to streaks, we found a formula that’s just right. For the past five years, St. Tropez’s Everyday Body Gradual Tan has won the title of best self-tanner in our Best Beauty Buys thanks to the natural-looking glow it creates and foolproof formula. Rather than coating your skin in a heavy bronze, the aloe-infused gel allows you to take things at your own pace, much like the sun’s own rays. “It builds over time and blends easily,” said makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, who has worked with Kim Kardashian. “Even if you miss a spot, it won’t be noticeable.” The two color options eliminate the risk of orange zebra stripes, and the floral scent defies that telltale faux tanner smell.
