Ten of Princess Diana‘s most iconic looks were auctioned yesterday at the London-based Kerry Taylor house, and the off-the-shoulder midnight blue Victor Edelstein velvet gown, which she once wore to the White House in 1985, went for $360,000, bought by a man looking to cheer his wife, The Daily Beast reports. We love the look for its Edwardian column inspiration, not to mention the way it flared out when John Travolta spun her around the White House’s dance floor. And it’s not the only dress from Diana’s enviable wardrobe we still remember: Click through our gallery to see more of Diana’s 25 most memorable looks.
