Emmanuelle Chriqui is the new spokesperson for Charles David, with the shoe label debuting this spring season ad campaign today. “I am so excited,” the former Entourage star said of her new gig. “Charles David shoes are not only sexy and fun, but also comfortable, elements I always look for in a shoe.” And Chriqui isn’t just a pretty face for the brand—she is already on board to continue her modeling through fall, with a twist: When she returns, she’ll also be showing off her own designs as part of the Charles David by Emmanuelle Chriqui collection. “Not only have I been a fan of their shoes for some time, but to have the wonderful opportunity to design a capsule collection for them has been an absolute thrill,” she said. “I look so forward to going on this journey with them.”

Mar 4, 2013 @ 4:55 pm

Gucci‘s Creative Director, Frida Giannini, and the Italian fashion house’s CEO, Patrizio di Marco, welcomed a daughter on Saturday! Named Greta, she is the couple’s first child—and born just a week after Giannini premiered Gucci’s fall 2013 collection at Milan Fashion Week, too. “Auguri to our very own Frida Giannini & Patrizio di Marco on the birth of their baby girl, Greta. Both mother and child are doing well,” Gucci Tweeted this afternoon. Auguri, indeed—Greta is sure to be one fashionable young lady!

Runway Looks We Love: Stella McCartney

Mar 4, 2013 @ 4:51 pm

After today’s Stella McCartney show during Paris Fashion Week, it’s clear that nobody borrows from the boys quite like Stella. (Further proof could be found in the front row, where Jessica Alba worked the label’s crystal-embroidered slim suit.) Menswear fabrics like plaid and pinstripes covered chic sweater dresses, adorable minis, and hooded parkas. Though black, white, and gray covered much of the relaxed designs, bright purple and blue spots punctuated the show. Twisted-strap stilettos and ultra-wearable chunky platforms finished off the boy-meets-girl aesthetic. See our favorite looks in the gallery.

The Good Wife Fashion Details: Season 4, Episode 15

Mar 4, 2013 @ 4:41 pm

A new episode of The Good Wife premiered on Sunday, in which Julianna Margulies’s character Alicia Florrick had to play hardball at work (cutting associates’ hours) and at home (helping her husband at the debate). For the story arc, costume designer Daniel Lawson wanted to keep her look neutral, with only one big pop at her husband’s debate, in which he put her in a bright red dress by No. 35 designer Andrea Cohen. “I wanted her to look neutral all episode, and then really pop,” Lawson said. “I wanted her to overpower the opponent, Maddie, visually. There is definitely something political about her look.” Get all the details on last night’s looks in the gallery, and follow Lawson on Twitter @GoodWifeFashion for the latest updates.

Runway Looks We Love: Givenchy

Mar 4, 2013 @ 3:30 pm

Anyone who considers florals too feminine, think again! For fall, Givenchy‘s Riccardo Tisci presented a bouquet of anything-but-precious designs that blended nature prints with tough leather and plaid. And there were more surprising pairings, like flowing maxiskirts layered with chunky knits. Though, nothing encapsulated the collection’s playful vibe quite like the quirky toppers, some of which featured Bambi cartoons. See our favorite looks in the gallery!

What InStyle’s Fashion Director Loved at Christian Dior (Other Than the Warhol Prints!)

Mar 4, 2013 @ 1:53 pm

InStyle‘s Cindy Weber Cleary is at Paris Fashion Week, and she’s sharing her favorite looks as soon as they hit the runway. One she loved: Raf Simons’s new collection for Christian Dior. The lineup boasted artful prints, but that wasn’t what struck our Fashion Director’s keen eye:  ”There were newsier aspects to this collection, like the Warhol prints,” she says, “but to my mind, it doesn’t get any better than this dramatic, yet timeless coat. Perfection!”

Click through the gallery to see more of Cindy’s favorites.
