The 85th Academy Awards red carpet spotlighted a few key fashion trends: pastels, sparkling metallics, and, perhaps most prominently, the statement back. We first noticed it on Anne Hathaway (middle), who stunned in a tie-backed pink satin column by Prada (and a dangling Tiffany & Co. necklace) when she picked up her statue for Best Supporting Actress. Stacy Keibler (right) also rocked a sheer back on her Naeem Khan gown, and Renée Zellweger dared to bare in a Carolina Herrera gown with a plunging back and contrasting bow ties. Sexy is back—literally!
