Awards season continued at the annual Brit Awards in London last night! Justin Timberlake continued his world takeover, walking the carpet in Tom Ford (of course) before taking to the stage to give his first live performance of his newest single, “Mirror Mirror.” (His wife Jessica Biel tweeted her support.) Taylor Swift was on-hand as a nominee for International Female Solo Artist (she lost to Lana Del Rey), and after the show she partied with Carey Mulligan and her husband, lead singer Marcus Mumford of folk band Mumford & Sons, who took home the award for British Group. See more photos from this week’s hottest parties in the gallery!

Found It! Drew Barrymore’s Hot Pink Lipstick (It’s From Her Own Makeup Line!)

Feb 21, 2013 @ 11:04 am

Drew Barrymore worked an electric rose lipstick at a Bulgari event in Beverly Hills this week, and we love the eye-popping hue! “For this look, clean and classic seemed the best way to go,” said the star’s makeup artist Debra Ferullo. “I thought a bright fuchsia lip would add a nice twist!” Ferullo used makeup from Barrymore’s own cosmetic line to achieve the look, picking up the Flower Beauty Kiss Stick in Petunia Petals, a bright magenta, for the statement pout. The key to pulling off an bold lip color is equal parts balance and confidence—a strong lipstick paired with vivid shadow can look overdone, so follow the actress’s lead and go easy on the eyes. Pick up a tube of Barrymore’s lipstick for just $7 at walmart.com.

Feb 21, 2013 @ 10:56 am

If you think you love Fashion Week livestreaming, check out the latest trend: digital fashion shows! Designers like Rachel Roy, Pierre Balmain, and Peter Som decided to take ‘streaming one step further, ditching an audience-filled show altogether in favor of a taped runway you could only see on your computer screen. “A digital show allowed me to tell the story of my fall collection in a new way and share that with a larger audience,” Roy told InStyle.com, adding that she was able to share more behind-the-scenes looks through social media with the digital format. “I wanted it to be very inclusive and create experiences that people who love fashion can engage with.” Get in on the digital fashion show action: Watch Rachel Roy’s online-only runway show above!

Oz-Inspired Poll: Are You a Glinda or a Theodora?

Feb 21, 2013 @ 6:00 am

When it comes to fabulous costumes, there’s no place like Disney. To coincide with the March 8 release of Oz The Great and Powerful, Disney Store designers have created two adult-sized, limited-edition couture costumes inspired by two of the tale’s iconic witches, Theodora (the Wicked Witch of the West) and Glinda (the Good Witch), played by InStyle’s March cover girls Mila Kunis and Michelle Williams. Only 300 editions of each look were made, and you can shop both the Wicked ($400) and Good ($350) costumes now on disneystore.com (along with an entire collection of Oz-inspired goodies). “I spent a lot of the shoot in a leather corset, wired up in a harness, and flying around in costume,” Kunis told InStyle of playing the West’s most infamous Wicked Witch. And while broomstick flying might not be on your agenda, it’s still fun to imagine wearing a pointy hat inspired by Theodora’s infamous black topper. Unless, that is, you’re more of a Glinda girl. Vote below and tell us which witch are you: Good or Bad?
