Marc Jacobs, Fashion WeekImaxtree

Marc Jacobs closed out New York Fashion Week on a bright note. Not only was his harvest moon set the most striking we’ve seen all week, but the clothes were equally as dazzling. Always the showman, Jacobs had his 55 models walk the runway not once, but twice—first in semi darkness (with only silhouettes visible, not actual colors), and then again with the lights on so the beautiful shades of blush, blue, and metallics could be fully appreciated. Texture stood out, from plush fur to shimmering silk, as well as the strong evening offering, including sheer, sparkling dresses and fur-topped gowns we can only hope to see on the red carpet. Models rocked sky-high heels and versatile chain-strap bags—the perfect offering of wear-to-work accessories. See our favorite looks in the gallery!
