This fall, the girl-next-door J.Crew woman is getting a dose of Moroccan inspiration. “I went to Marrakech and couldn’t get it out of my head when I started working on the collection,” Tom Mora, Head of Women’s Design, told InStyle.com. “Embroideries, beading, rug patterns, the colors of the sunsets—they were perfect inspiration.” The result: jewel tone suiting, rich brocades, and embellished overcoats (a favorite of Mora’s). We also always look forward to J.Crew’s styling, which delivered once again—the pairings were impeccable and surprising as ever, with colors, patterns, and textures clashing and blending for maximum impact. See our favorite looks in the gallery.
