Girls as Grammy Dates! Allison Williams and Lena Dunham

The girls of Girls were at the Grammys tonight! At the same time a new episode hit the airwaves on HBO, TV’s hippest BFFs graced the red carpet as plus-ones for the evening. Katy Perry (in skin-baring Gucci) brought pal Allison Williams (in Kaufmanfranco), while Fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff had girlfriend Lena Dunham at his side. He also thanked Dunham when Fun. accepted the Grammy for Song of the Year for their party smash hit “We Are Young.” How cute!

Taylor Swift opened the show with a circus-themed performance of her hit “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” Rihanna put on a fun two-piece dress for her part in the tribute to Bob Marley alongside Bruno Mars and Sting, and Adam Levine proved that you don’t have to be a girl to be on fire when he and Maroon 5 stood alongside Alicia Keys for a performance of her hit girl power anthem. Grammys 2013: The Year of the Snake Represented on the Red Carpet

Today is the first day of the Chinese New Year, which means it’s a fresh start in the Chinese zodiac, too—welcome to the Year of the Snake! With the Grammys the same day, snakes represented big on the red carpet. Florence Welch accessorized her Givenchy gown with a snake ring, Giuliana Rancic topped off her Carlos Miele look with a Le Vian ring wrapped around her finger, and Rihanna added a 100-carat diamond and platinum serpentine bracelet and ruby serpent rings by Neil Lane to her look, pieces worth a total of $2 million. To a happy new year!

The star used CoverGirl’s LipPerfection LipColor in Hot, an extra moisturizing formula packed with rich, pigmented color. “I love that this is Janelle’s favorite red lip color because it’s perfect for her flawless face,” Beecham told InStyle.com. “I chose the color not only because it’s her favorite, but also because it was just the splash of color she needed with her gold embellished blazer.” Add the color to your shopping list, it’s available for $7 at drugstore.com.

Grammys 2013: Katy Perry’s Gucci Dress Is Actually for Sale! Want It?

Despite a memo to tone down the revealing fashion at the Grammys, Katy Perry didn’t follow the rules, showing up to the Staples Center in a mint green Gucci gown with a front keyhole opening big enough to show off every curve. ”I was just inspired by Priscilla Presley in the ’70s—big hair, closer to God, that whole thing,” she told E! host Ryan Seacrest. The dress is the fashion conversation starter of the night, and it can hop right off the red carpet into your hands. Grammys 2013 Nail Art: Shop Carly Rae Jepsen’s Color

Usually it’s Carly Rae Jepsen’s bangs that we obsess over when she walks the red carpet, but tonight all eyes were one her nails! Celebrity manicurist Emi Kudo, used Red Carpet Manicure Set In Stone ($10 at ulta.com) to create her nail look, and fun fact, the polish is made with genuine diamond dust. She also added an arty accent on her pointer finger—the base is Fake Bake ($10 at ulta.com) topped off with two black diamonds. Of the finished look, which perfectly complemented her black and silver Roberto Cavalli gown, Carly Rae screamed, “My nails are so pretty!” We totally agree!
