On the first day of New York Fashion Week, BCBG Max Azria presented a gypsy-inspired fall collection with a decidedly modern feel. There were laser-cut leather hoodies, jacquard motorcycle jackets, laid-back yet luxe fur vests and, true to BCBG form, party-ready silk and tulle slip dresses. Neutral tones ruled the runway, with subtle accents of burgundy and navy, while each look got a dose of sporty edge thanks to cool girl wardrobe staples: cozy cashmere beanies and thigh-high leather boots.
