It’s almost here! The Oscars air Sunday, February 24 at 7/6 c on ABC, and it all starts now with the live announcement of the 2013 nominees! Breaking from tradition for the first time since 1972, this year’s host, Seth MacFarlane, will participate in the announcement of the Academy Award nominations at 5:30 a.m. PST today at the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, making it the second time ever in the ceremony’s 85-year history. We’ve seen who has been nominated for the Golden Globe awards and the SAG Awards, so we have a little bit of an idea of what to expect, but there are sure to be some surprises! MacFarlane will announce the nominees alongside Gangster Squad star Emma Stone. Watch the nominations live above!
