Dr. Lahiri (funny woman Mindy Kaling) and her motley medical crew at Shulman & Associates return tonight, after a three-week holiday hiatus, with an all-new episode of The Mindy Project featuring Mindy’s wayward on-screen brother Rishi (guest star Utkarsh Ambudkar). When Rishi informs the doc that he wants to drop out of college to focus on his (nonexistent) rap career, Mindy freaks… then shows off her own free-styling skills, of course. We can only imagine the lyrical genius Mindy will be when she jumps on the mic! Tune in tonight for Mindy’s musical debut at 9:30 p.m. EST on FOX.

Jessica Chastain’s Harry Winston Necklace: Worth Over $1 Million

We’re blinded by Jessica Chastain’s beautiful bling! Last night, the Zero Dark Thirty star attended the the New York Film Critics Circle Awards wearing a lace Oscar de la Renta dress accessorized with a collar necklace by Harry Winston, a massive, stunning piece worth more than $1 million. (Feel free to stare at this huge picture to the right). The experts at Harry Winston tell InStyle.com that the platinum necklace is the jeweler’s Queen of Lace design, which features nearly 100 carats of brilliant diamonds in pear, round, and marquise shapes to create a Point d’Alençon lace-like design. Can you imagine wearing that around your neck? Gorgeous!

The New Normal Returns Tonight: A New Year, a New Baby!

A new year, a baby on the way, and a wedding to plan? The New Normal returns tonight and 2013 is shaping up to be one exciting year for Bryan (Andrew Rannells) and David (Justin Bartha). Tonight, the guys decide they want to use Goldie (Georgia King) again as a surrogate but Bryan’s ex (guest star Matt Bomer) throws a wrench in their plans when he tries to poach her to be his surrogate. Aside from the baby mama drama, keep an eye out for Bryan and David’s chic wardrobe choices in tonight’s episode. “I had a very specific idea going in on what David’s wardrobe would be and wanted him to epitomize a certain type of ‘put-together’ discerning gentleman,” Justin Bartha told InStyle.com about choosing how to dress his character. “Andrew [Rannells]‘s clothes tend to be a bit more flamboyant as does his character. Both have impeccable taste but if you switch their wardrobes, it would look slightly ridiculous.” Tune in for the second half of the season on Tuesdays at 9:30/8:30c on NBC!

The sexy stars of Gangster Squad celebrated the film at the Los Angeles premiere last night in well-suited glory, an homage to the movie’s 1950s L.A. setting. Josh Brolin chose a burgundy suit by Ermenegildo Zegna, Ryan Gosling (who—awww!—brought his mother as his date) picked a burnt three-piece from Gucci, and Anthony Mackie wore a checked slate gray look. Dakota Fanning and Coco Rocha are lightening up this winter! After a brief stint as a brunette in the fall, Fanning went back to her blond roots to start the year. Also, model Coco Rocha swapped her auburn hue for ombre highlights. Rocha dabbled in the two-tone hair trend back in May when she used pink extensions at the Met Gala, but unveiled a more permanent version yesterday. What do you think of their new looks? David Bowie Releases First Song in 10 Years, Announces New Album

It’s been a really big day for David Bowie! The rock legend turns 66 today, and in honor of his birthday, he just announced he’ll release his first album in 10 years, The Next Day, on March 12 in the U.S. As a lead-up to the new record—his 27th to date, a follow-up to 2003′s Reality—he also released the first song, “Where Are We Now?,” and an accompanying video. True to the British rocker’s oddball sensibility, the video shows footage from Berlin, as the song tells the story of Bowie’s day-to-day life when he lived in the city for three years in the 1970s. However, rather than appear as himself, Bowie replaced the head of a stuffed animal with his own face, as he watches the Berlin reel behind him. Watch the clip above! And, in honor of his birthday, his supermodel wife Iman answered his question via Twitter: “”Where are we now?” Right here in you arms.. now & forever! Happy Birthday, David #imantruelove.” What a gift!
