A new episode of The Good Wife premiered last night, in which Julianna Margulies’s character Alicia Florrick squared off once again with Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox). ”This whole episode, we had to really think through the wardrobe,” costume designer Daniel Lawson told InStyle.com. “For the story, she thinks she’s going to be out of town for the afternoon, and then she stays for a few days.” So, for her big meeting—which was held in a heavily wooded area—Lawson put Marguiles in a vivid red Dior jacket. “We really wanted her to really pop like crazy and be out of her element,” Lawson said. “It’s a very earth-toned world that she’s in, so it really stands out.” Click through the gallery to learn more about last night’s wardrobe!

Rihanna has gone ombre! Last night, the singer abandoned her most recent pixie and debuted new color-changing extensions. The hair chameleon knows a thing or two about edgy hues, and while her highlights aren’t as extreme as her red, blond, and pixie styles of years past, we think they’re a subtle way to kick off 2013. And RiRi isn’t the only one resolving to make some new year hair changes—Community funny gal Gillian Jacobs made the shift from sunny blond to deep brunette. The boys of One Direction get goofy for their latest video, in the most lovable corny way possible. For “Kiss You,” the British boy banders Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Liam Payne show off their silliest dance moves while channeling iconic images of musical legends (like the Beatles posing in black and white and Elvis singing “Jailhouse Rock”). This is one tongue-and-cheek performance that is sure to make you smile. Watch the full video above to experience the fandemonium for yourself.

Has it already been a year? On January 7, 2012, Beyoncé fans the world over let out a collective squeal at the news that the singer had just given birth to Blue Ivy Carter, her first daughter with husband Jay-Z. The mini-Bey weighed in at an even 7 lbs., and soon after her birth in New York City, the Carter family released a statement: “Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. It was the best experience of both of our lives. We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support.” Since then, Blue has been no stranger to the spotlight, with her own custom designer sneakers, jewelry in her honor, and even a song penned for her by her daddy. Happy birthday, Baby Blue!
