Olivia Wilde can add the title of hairstylist to her already-impressive resume! In October, the star shifted from her ombre highlights to a deep brunette hue, and it turns out, the change was a DIY job. The star darkened her strands for a role using Revlon’s Colorsilk Buttercream hair color in Medium Brown, and loved her new hue so much, she kept it for the product’s campaign commercial, the beauty brand told InStyle.com. Her Revlon pick is the company’s latest version of dye, which is available in 13 shades and uses a trinity of mango, shea, and coconut butters to condition your hair so it’s not brittle. Denmark’s Princess Mary’s Fancy New Year’s Wardrobe

New Year’s week has some very fancy customs for the royals in Denmark! Every year, Her Royal Highness Queen Margrethe hosts the Annual New Year’s Eve Levee at the Christiansborg Palace in the capital city of Copenhagen, a centuries-old tradition that honors and celebrates officers from the nation’s Defence and Danish Emergency management agency. Her eldest son and heir to the throne Crown Prince Frederik attended (he is a member), which means—Princess sighting!—his wife Crown Princess Mary did, too. The Australian-born Mary dressed formally for both appearances—first in a brocade gray gown with matching cropped jacket for a ceremony on Thursday, and a light pink tulle dress with a brown velvet blazer for another celebration today. Brava, Danes!

Couple Julianne Hough and Ryan Seacrest hit the waves in the Caribbean for a bit of paddleboarding while on vacation on the island of St. Barts. We’re sure Ryan especially appreciated the 80-plus degree weather after spending two nights in below-freezing New York temperatures while hosting his New Year’s Rockin’ Eve special earlier this week. “When we do see each other, we are super-excited and do these cute and romantic things,” the dancer and actress told InStyle of her relationship for our Fall Makeover issue. James Bond to Get Special Tribute at This Year’s Oscars

First the Olympics, now the Oscars are getting the Bond treatment! In honor of the 50th Anniversary of the James Bond movie franchise, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will include a tribute to the films during the broadcast at this year’s 85th Anniversary of the Academy Awards. “We are very happy to include a special sequence on our show saluting the Bond films on their 50th birthday,” producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron said in a statement. “Starting with ‘Dr. No’ back in 1962, the 007 movies have become the longest-running motion picture franchise in history and a beloved global phenomenon.” Talk about the power of Bond! The 85th Academy Awards airs Sunday, February 24th at 7/6c on ABC.
