“You’re the smartest and the dumbest person I’ve ever known,” Saul poignantly tells Carrie in the preview for tonight’s heart-pounding season finale of Golden Globe-nominated drama, Homeland. (The series earned five nods this week, including those for lead actors Claire Danes and Damian Lewis, and supporting actor Mandy Patinkin.) Tonight’s episode, aptly title “The Choice,” will have viewers on the edge of their seats as Saul forces Carrie to face reality and choose between Brody and the CIA (finally!). Though she may not have to choose at all if Quinn decides to go through with his assassination orders on Brody. Either way, things have gone too far to ever go back and we can’t wait to see what shakes down. Tune in tonight at 10 p.m. EST onShowtime—and have your Xanax at the ready!

I’m almost dreading this since I read the People magazine interview with Damian Lewis when he refused to state whether or not he would be returning for season 3… the Dexter finale is going to be bad enough (thanks to an ‘inside’ source) but I don’t think I can handle a farewell to Brody! Hope it doesn’t come to that…
