Twilight Star Peter Facinelli’s Favorite Holiday Gift: “Being With The People I Love”

When it comes to the holidays, Peter Facinelli tends to mimic his gentle turn as Dr. Carlisle Cullen in The Twilight Saga. “I don’t really enjoy getting more stuff,” Facinelli told InStyle.com at the Ermenegildo Zegna Parfums Essenze fragrance launch in New York, where the menswear label debuted five new colognes. “I have enough stuff. It sounds corny, but being with the people I love is a really nice gift for me.” And this year, he’s gifting his wish present to himself: “I’m taking my mom, dad, sister, and her family to the Bahamas. My sister was like, ‘Thank you so much,’ and I was like, ‘No, it’s really a gift for me. Because I want to spend time with you.’” Aw! Can we come?

Jane Fonda’s New Exercise DVD, AM/PM Yoga for Beginners: Out Today!

Jane Fonda, who at one time earned notoriety as queen of the workout video, is back at it with today’s release of Jane Fonda AM/PM Yoga for Beginners DVD. The 74-year-old promises to help you “build strength, improve flexibility, and relax the body” with this disc, providing three workouts for morning and two for evening. Studies have shown that a regular yoga practice can relieve stress, melt away the pounds, and even help relieve asthma attacks. It can also increase your mental prowess, a trait we already know Jane admires. “I’ve learned to be more self-aware,” she told InStyle.com at a New York fundraiser for her charity, the Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention. “I didn’t pay attention [when I was younger], and I wish that I had. I used to think it was a bad thing, but I now think it’s a good thing to know who you are and how you want to present yourself to the world.” Click here to shop her yoga DVD. Namaste to all!

On tonight’s New Girl, Nick (Jake Johnson) finds love in guest star, Olivia Munn, who plays a beautiful, tough-as-nails bar patron dealing with a breakup. “My abs hurt from too much laughing on #NewGirl. Shame on you @markjakejohnson @ZooeyDeschanel @IamGreenfield @LamorneMorris @HannahSimone,” Munn tweeted while on set with the cast. Meanwhile, Jess (Zooey Deschanel) starts a campaign to install a bathtub in the loft, but the other roommates aren’t on board with the idea. Tune in tonight for lots of laughs at 9/8c on FOX!

Kate Bosworth Sings in Topshop’s Holiday Video

After teasing the video for several days on their YouTube account, Topshop has finally revealed #whosthatgirl, the mystery star of their first-ever Christmas film: Kate Bosworth! The short film, directed by Michael Polish (Kate’s man) and inspired by Michelle Pffeifer’s famous piano scene in The Fabulous Baker Boys, has Bosworth in a very festive red party dress, singing the iconic holiday song “Winter Wonderland,” to a room full of awe-struck onlookers. “This project brings together two important aspects of my life: cinema and fashion,” Bosworth said in a statement. “I hope everyone enjoys watching it as much as we did making it!” The dress and shoes Kate wears in the video will be available as a special made-to-order on topshop.com to coincide with the new Topshop store opening in Los Angeles next February. Not only do Connie Britton’s roles on American Horror Story, Nashville, and Friday Night Lights showcase her dynamic range on-screen—they also show how she can work three very different wardrobes. So, which style did she like best? “I love the style of all my characters in different ways,” the actress told InStyle.com yesterday in New York, when she took a break handing out care packages to Hurricane Sandy victims with Curel and Direct Relief International. Here’s why:

1. Friday Night Lights (right): “Tami Taylor had a perfect blowout and was definitely doing her shopping in Dylan, Texas,” said Britton.
2. American Horror Story (left): “I loved the style of my character on American Horror Story. I loved the Helmut Lang dresses. The clothes were loose, but still sophisticated and modern.”
3. Nashville (center): As the glamorous country singer Rayna James on Nashville, she has no shortage of sparkly ensembles. “Some of the most fun I have on Nashville is during my wardrobe fittings,” she said, adding that Dolce & Gabbana and Oscar de la Renta dresses she’s worn are among her favorites. “You also wouldn’t believe the snake patterns and glitter you can get on a pair of J Brand jeans these days!” Judging from the show-stopping outfits we’ve already seen, we believe it!
