Coral lipstick is a great hue for summer, and if you steer clear of a too-heavy finish like Lucy Hale, the shade gets a cool weather makeover. “I decided to do a subtle match with Lucy’s makeup to her gorgeous orange top,” said her makeup artist Nick Barose, who used Sephora’s Color Lip Last in Go For Pink. “Normally I hate matching makeup to clothes, but for the holidays it’s kind of perfect and more festive that way.” Instead of completely coating Hale’s lips in an opaque hue, Barose stuck to a light wash of color with a shiny finish. “I dabbed the product on directly from the tube, blotted it to keep it sheer, then added a similar-toned coral gloss.” Great tip!
