‘Tis the season! One of New York City’s greatest holiday traditions is in full swing—the unveiling of the holiday windows—and Saks Fifth Avenue and Henri Bendel both revealed theirs last night. Saks’s went for Nutcracker-esque approach, as the store hired dancers from the American Ballet Theatre to pirouette the snowflake and yeti-filled windows (shown above, left) to life while a giant winter wonderland animation projected on the outside of the iconic Fifth Avenue building. Meanwhile, Bendel had launched a #DecoTheHalls holiday theme, featuring cozy home decor inspired by the roaring ’20s.
